The hotel had some drawbacks like hot rooms with no air conditioning and a strong cigarette smell, but they were serviced daily. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms offered great views of the city and the bed was exceptionally comfy. The service was outstanding, staff were friendly and always ready to assist. The location was convenient, with eateries and shopping centers within walking distance. The dining experience was satisfactory, but there were minor issues with the breakfast. Overall, a good value for the money.
After our return from Stewart Island, the hotel's room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen amenities, including a sink, microwave, fridge, and crockery, were very useful. However, the layout was a bit odd with a large step into the bathroom.
